Advancing Ethical Research: A Major Milestone in Non-Animal Methods (NAMs) Development

We are pleased to share a remarkable achievement within our ongoing research efforts. Our team has made a significant contribution to an innovative project funded by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), which is focused on reducing the reliance on in vivo experiments through the adoption of Non-Animal Methods (NAMs). This collaborative endeavor has culminated in the publication of EFSA Supporting Publication 2024, which highlights the critical role of advanced methodologies in toxicological assessments.

A pivotal aspect of our contribution to this project was the deployment of our Universal Immune System Simulator (UISS). This sophisticated computational model is designed to simulate immune system responses with high precision, thereby minimizing the need for animal testing while ensuring rigorous safety and efficacy evaluations of chemicals and food products. The UISS represents a significant advancement in the field, aligning with the growing demand for more ethical and scientifically robust research practices.

We take pride in being at the forefront of these important developments, which not only enhance the efficiency and accuracy of toxicological research but also embody a commitment to ethical responsibility in scientific inquiry. This accomplishment would not have been possible without the exceptional dedication of our team and the invaluable support provided by EFSA.

We extend our sincere thanks to all those who contributed to the success of this project. We look forward to further advancing our mission of pioneering ethical and innovative research methodologies.
